Who we are

Shipfilms makes product videos for software companies. For anything related to your data, write to [email protected].

What we measure

We use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, in cookieless mode: we don't set cookies or store anything on your device. We record which pages are visited, how much of each video is played, and clicks on the buttons to book a call, request a teaser or write to us (by email or WhatsApp). PostHog derives an approximate location from your IP address; the address itself isn't stored.

On private demo pages, we also record whether the page was opened and how much of the teaser was watched. We use this only to decide whom to follow up with, and never sell or share it.

Free teaser requests

When you request a free teaser, we store your product's website and your email to make the teaser and send it to you. We don't use them for anything else, and we delete them if you ask.

Booking a call

Calls are booked through Cal.com. The details you enter there (name, email, notes) are used only to hold the call and follow up on it.

Business contacts

When we reach out to a company, we use professional contact details that are publicly available or that were shared with us, and we keep a record of where each one came from. If you'd rather not hear from us, reply to any message or write to us and we'll stop and keep you off our lists.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, and to correct or delete it, by writing to [email protected]. We keep analytics data for no longer than 12 months.
